After splitting the two game series in ‘Sota with the Twins, the Tigers now go on to Progressive Field at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario in Cleveland, Ohio. Last night, they were supposed to play at 7:15, but decided to cancel the game because of inclement weather. Today, Terry Francona and AJ Hinch meet in a showdown to hopefully move the Tigers closer to second place. The reason why I say that is because I feel like the Tigers have been playing mistake free baseball, as evidenced by their recent play in Minnesota. I also like the makeup of the Tigers team this year. The Guardians have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games. If the Twins win against the Pirates, and the Tigers take care of business against Cleveland, they could almost put the Guardians away, where they belong. You can listen to the Tigers on Sirius XM internet 849 with the venerable Dan Dickerson, which is what this reporter will be doing.
