Detroit

After a two hour rain delay, it was finally time to play baseball! The Tigers entered the game with a record of 4 and 3 but the bullpen gave away a comfortable lead. Because of the bullpen, the Tigers fall to a record of 4 and 4, and after being given a 6-1 lead the Tigers proceeded to let the Bluejays back in the game. It all started with the 23 year old Rick Porcello leading the Tigers on the mound. It wasn’t Porcellos fault, it was the people behind him. He left with a 6-2 lead and the bullpen couldn’t help him out due to the pens wildness. This is the second time this year that a starter has not gotten help from the Tigers bullpen. The play of the game came off the back of JP Aencibia’s bat. After yesterdays being robbed of a home run, he had the play that gave the Bluejay’s the lead for good. It was a 3-1 double that erased a 6-2 comfortable lead. Only time will tell if this is the way the Tigers are going to play all season. One would hope not. I would like to know what the bullpens excuses are. 4 and 4 doesn’t make a season. It matters where you are in October,
