Cleveland, Ohio–With the White Sox burning up the Central Division the Tigers are right on their tail. Tonight Detroit faces Sykeston, ND native, Travis Hafner and the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. On the mound for the Tigers will be Max Scherzer. This is a match-up of two teams heading in opposite directions. The Indians sit in last place in the AL Central while the Tigers in second place, are trying to chase down Ozzie Guillen and the White Sox. They didn’t get any help from Joe Mauer or his teammates last night at Target Field as the Twins were not on target, losing to the White Sox 8 to 7. This leaves the Tigers little choice but to take a bite out of Ozzie Guillen and the White Sox on their own. The Central Division race will come down to pitching and hitting. Your Tigers’ MVP is definitely Miguel Cabrera. When the game is on the line he shows Tiger fans what he is made of coming up with hits in the clutch. The game starts tonight at 7:05 p.m.
