Toronto, Canada. Last night was the Pacers’ worst game of the season. I don’t care if it was New Year’s Eve the night before, because these guys knew that they had a job to do, and they just fell flat on their faces. The worst thing was they lost to Tyler, of all people! I don’t know where the second half magic was last night, but that game was totally not like Frank Vogel and the Pacers. I still think that it’s nothing to be concerned about though. I think all they can do is pick up their game and go after the Pelicans. I am glad Bob Leonard wasn’t there, because he wouldn’t have liked what he saw. I just thought last night was sloppy basketball all night long. Roy Hibbert didn’t have a very good night either. You have to expect the Pacers to go through some adversity at times. All they can do is put on their “big boy pants” and show that they are the king of the east that I know that they are. Larry Bird built this team with veterans over the summer, so you can look for a much sharper effort against the New Orleans Pelicans. There is a reason why Frank has the best paid team in the league, and that’s because they won’t take no for an answer, and they know who is their floor general. You can look for a sharper game out of Hibbert, and plus the fact that the game is going to be at home and the Pacers will have more of the advantage. I expect the Pacers to absolutely man handle the Pelicans. We own the Fieldhouse this year, and that’s the way it should be!
