Tonight’s matchup between UND and American International College should be very appealing, because American International is the home of several former Bobcats. Most of you know that your favorite media outlet is a staff writer for the Bismarck Bobcats. American International seems to be a favorite when players graduate from the Bobcats. If you go on the Bobcats website and click on alumni, you can see how many Bobcats there are at American International. Adam Stacho and Tobias Fladeby are looking to sting the Fighting Hawks tonight and move one step closer to the national finals. A part of me wants the Yellow Jackets to sting the Hawks, because of the Bobcat connection. If the Yellow Jackets keep buzzing around the net, it will reflect very highly on owner Thom Brigl and head coach Layne Sedevie. It will be good news for the Bobcats if Adam can deliver his heavy slap shot into the net. It will speak to the type of Junior A program that is being run out of Bismarck, North Dakota.
