If the bells and whistles are activated on Friday night in Indianapolis, the Purdue Boilermakers will find themselves in the Elite Eight. They are looking for a death on the tracks, this time it’s a number 1 seed Houston Cougars. Braden Smith has got to be better with his ball handling, it could be a long night for Matt Painter and the Boilermakers. In the last game, Smith had eight turnovers, and wasn’t very reliable with his ball handling at all. Fletcher Loyer was on his game against the McNeese State Cowboys with his three ball. The three ball was a reliable weapon for the Boilermakers. As somebody would say, “turn out the lights, the party’s over.” The crowd is expected to be pro-Boilermakers, because West Lafayette is only an hour away from the capital of the Hoosier State. If Braden is on his game, and if the Purdue sharpshooters are like they were on Saturday, expect the Cougars to go silently into the night.
