Just when you thought the Bismarck Bobcats were done for the season, they had one more Christmas Present under the tree and it had a Bow on it. Number 12 Julian Beaumont made sure that the Rochester Junior Americans were dispatched. He scored the game winner on Sunday afternoon to give the Bobcats another improbable comeback. The Bobcats won the game 2-1 in overtime, because of Julian being a sharp shooter. This team has nine lives, and refuses to disperse for the season. Now they will battle for Junior A hockey’s ultimate prize on Tuesday night at 7 pm at Fogerty Arena in Blaine Minnesota against the defending champion Lone Star Brahmas. Either way, the Bobcats have to be ticked pink to be three periods away from laying claim to their first Robertson Cup in 15 years.
