After a total domination of the St. Cloud Norsemen on Friday, the Bobcats would fail in their attempt to sweep the Norsemen on Saturday. After scoring nine goals on Friday, the Bobcats only scored 3 on Saturday, which was not enough to win. With the loss, Bismarck is now 5-4 for the season. Currently, the Bobcats have a winning record, which is what you want. But the season doesn’t end until spring. The Bobcats are a young team, and the defending champs have room for improvement. After winning the whole thing last year, the Bobcats are only a game above .500. Coach Roth and the boys can do better than just 5-4. I think Coach Roth knows that, and I have nothing but confidence that they will get better as the season rolls along. The Bobcats are headed for two meetings with the Watertown Shamrocks on Saturday and Sunday. They should be able to sweep the Shamrocks.
