Pasadena, California. On Mew Year’s Day, Fernando Mendoza showed you why he won the Heisman Trophy. He made sure he and his teammates left no stone unturned when they absolutely made sure it was high tide. The final score was 38-3 over the normally talented Alabama Crimson Tide. With the win, the Hoosiers and Mr. fisher of men Don Fisher, the voice of Indiana football and basketball, have at least one more game to call, in the Peach Bowl against Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks on January 9. The winner of that football game earns a spot in the national title game, which will be held on January 19th in Miami. Head football coach Curt Cignetti is one win away from giving the Hoosiers a national title.
