On Saturday night against the Watertown Shamrocks, Teddy Richardson took a stupid penalty that could have doomed the Bobcats. But his sheer determination to win in overtime was evident. He shot the puck into the net for a 2-1 triumph, clinching a playoff berth for the defending Robertson Cup champions with the win. This is not the only time that Richardson has scored a game winner. He is committed to University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks, where Richardson will play after his Bobcat tenure is over. Teddy and the Cats will continue their pursuit of the Austin Bruins when Scott Langer and the third place Aberdeen Wings come calling at the den on Friday and Saturday night.
