The Indiana Pacers and the NBA are teaming up to host the NBA All Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 18. I would have given Rick Carlisle a nod to be the Eastern Conference head coach, but instead, we’ve got Doc Rivers from Milwaukee. I feel that the city that is hosting the All Star game should have a lot of players on the floor. But Doc Rivers gets his own player, Giannis Antetokounmpo to be an All Star, which I feel is a rip off. The Bucks coach should not have control of who starts. I am sick of Coach Rivers and would have jettisoned him and made him stay home in Milwaukee. The Indiana Pacers have one All Star, which is Tyrese Haliburton. He is coming off a hamstring injury that has him on a minute restriction. Sooner or later, I expect Tyrese to just play through it.
The All Star game will be good for the city of Indianapolis, because basketball is our game.
