New York, NY. The New York Knicks were explosive on Wednesday night, blowing out the Pacers in the first half. But somebody forgot to tell the Knicks that there was a second half to their effort. The Pacers were awakened in the second half, nearly erasing a Knicks 21 point lead. Buddy Hield was the catalyst for the Pacers comeback from the first half and ended up with Reggie Miller’s old number for points (31). At halftime, the Knicks could do no wrong, and everything Indiana did was wrong. The second half was like the Knicks had taken tryptophan. The Pacers were moving the ball around the perimeter just the way Slick Leonard would surmise. The Knicks had more firepower on this night, and the Indiana comeback fell short, with the final score Knicks 119, Pacers 113. Due to the Knicks win, they now own the tiebreaker over Indiana.
