The 2022-23 Purdue Boilermakers are really special, because they only have only one loss, and because they have the Paint Crew, named after Purdue bench boss Matt Painter. The Paint Crew are group of students that cheer really loud and say “Let’s Go Boilers”. The basketball team has national player of the year candidate Zach Edey. He is a 7’4” junior who other teams cannot stop. They also have freshman guard Fletcher Loyer, who has the capability to go Triple Time. Penn State is tonight’s opponent in Mackey Arena, who Purdue beat in Philadelphia earlier this year. With a win, Purdue would be 22-1 on the season.
