Bismarck, ND. With last night being Thanksgiving, it was time to say thank you to Bobcat Nation, and allegedly stuff the Minot Minotauros who sent the Bobcats back down Highway 83 on Saturday night with one of the worst losses ever, 4-1. The Bobcats are finding it hard to keep their drive for five on an even keel. They are looking up at the Bruins, who currently hold the top spot the Bobcats once occupied for four straight years. Last night, it was a renewed acquaintance who is becoming the Bobcats’ pain in the neck, the Minotauros. It was Minot getting on the board first with an inexcusable blunder by Bryan Nies, who obviously had too much tryptophane in his system. But the Bobcats would tie the game at one, and then reclaim the dominant position with two straight goals before the tryptophane befell them. Layne Sedevie tried to wake them up by putting in Aaron Nelson. Sedevie was forced to watch in horror as the Bobcats squandered the lead, before GI Joe Giordano tried to revive them, tying the game at four with 3:56 remaining. But the house that the Bobcats once owned quickly became the Mesa, as the Minotauros began carving their way through the Bobcats like a hot knife through butter. The Bobcats only got one lousy point on Thanksgiving, as it looked like the Mesa inside the VFW Sports Center. This is total garbage. I’m not blaming Layne or Garrett for this one, the guys that wear the uniform need their heads examined. It’s not Layne’s or Garrett’s job to put on the Bobcat uniform, it has to come with team unity, which is something missing from the Bobcats right now. They better find it, or the Sheriff will knock on the locker room door, and give the team a piece of my my mind.
