Just when you thought you were too far away to care about the sports news in your home town, it will be on a new Neuhoff Radio station. So now, when you want the latest from Hoosier Nation on your Boilermaker football team, you can listen to WLFI News Channel 18 out of West Lafayette. The reason why I am excited to listen to WLFI News is now there is a new way for me to follow the Ponies and Hoosiers and Boilermakers and Butler Bulldogs. You will hopefully notice a marked improvement on this website when it comes to Indiana sports. I hope you guys enjoy a little slice of my home state when it comes to sports. Instead of waiting to hear it on WFNI, you will hear the latest news on your Boilermakers on K105, Lafayette’s Country Leader, instead of having to wait a bazillion years until they finally open their mouths on WFNI, Indy’s alleged sports station. And instead of having to listen to Dan Dakich bloviate about sports with a foul mouth, you can get the latest news and the latest information on your whistle blowing town on K105. I think this could be the year that the Boilers have roses in their mouth, like Drew Brees and Kelly Kitchel did in 2001.
