You will not have teams crying out, “We’re number 1!” like they did in the old system. On January 12th, two teams will fight for it, but only one will walk out with a crown on their head. Last year’s champion has to go up against Oregon, in the Pasadena Rose Bowl. The alleged #1’s have to face Ohio State. That is a pretty good recipe for drama. This is college football at its best. Oregon will have a field day with Ohio, it will probably come down to the last possession of the ball game. Oregon-24, Ohio State-20. Florida State-23, Alabama-24. Michigan State-48 TCU-3.
