It was time for the Twins to open a new present, and it came from the Tigers. Michael Fulmer made his Twins debut in today’s 4-1 victory over the hapless Tigers, along with a former Oriole, Jorge Lopez. Fulmer came on in the sixth in relief of Joe Ryan, and pitched a scoreless inning. Lopez got his 20th save of the season, and it came with him being right on target. Fulmer got a chance to pitch against his former team, the kings of the jungle. Hopefully, he can avoid being part of a major sore spot for the Twins, which is their bullpen. Former Cleveland Guardian Sandy Leon drove in the first two runs today for the Twins today. He will take some of the everyday catching duties away from Gary Sanchez, while Ryan Jeffers recovers from a fractured thumb.
