Homestead, Florida. Who will it be? Will it be the outspoken His Smokiness, or the vivacious back flipping Carl Edwards? The reason why I would like nothing better than His Smokiness to be on top of the kingdom for a third time is his honesty and his tell-it-like-it-is attitude. If you want to stick a microphone in somebody’s face, Tony is your guy. Edwards has never been on top of the kingdom. He’s too quiet. NASCAR needs an outspoken king, someone who isn’t afraid to mix it up and tell you what they think. That is one of Johnson’s big problems. He’s just too Goody Two Shoes, and you don’t see the fire that you do with Smoke. Some people might not like Smoke’s fiery attitude, but if you have a problem with this article, then that’s your problem. I can say what I want about what NASCAR needs, and NASCAR needs smoke. Until Edwards learns how to open his mouth and have the have-at-it-attitude, this reporter will not trust him as NASCAR’s spokesman.
