Onalaska, Wisconsin. After being anemic on Friday night, the 2011-12 Bobcats returned to their Bullish form with a 4-1 win against Coulee Region on Saturday. These Bobcats are going to be hard to keep pace with if anybody else wants a shot at the Central Division cup, let alone hockey’s ultimate prize, the Robertson Cup. I know it’s only November, folks, but I really like the makeup of this team. I would like to go back to a point in a previous article. The Bobcats have several players that remind me of Tommy Reimann or Peter Kolasa of the Billings Bulls. So what if you have four losses. The four losses don’t matter, it’s the 14 wins that do. The Bobcats return to the VFW Metra on Friday and Saturday when they will take on another victim, the Minot Nicktauros. The name is taken from former Bobcat broadcaster and now current Minot marketing director, my friend Nick Hulberg. Face off is scheduled for 7:15 each day.
