Chicago, IL. This weekend is so awesome, because this is a weekend where you have a chance to cover the up and coming stars of NASCAR. Nationwide did a good thing by having a stand alone weekend. Instead of hearing about Busch, Gordon, and Newman you get a chance to cover drivers like Parker Klingerman from Kyle Bush Motor Sports and Richard Childress Racing. Without Kevin Harvick this weekend is so refreshing, because you can focus on one series instead of two or three. Also, you have old familiar faces like Eliot Sadler and Sam Hornish Jr. I’m just so excited to be covering Nationwide, because not only do you have a lot of excitement in the Cup series with Newman and Kyle, you also have a lot of drama between Eliot and the current points leader in the Nationwide, Regan Smith. After getting into a wreck at the Loudon New Hampshire race, Eliot said Regan Smith would not win the Nationwide series championship this year.
