Detroit, Michigan. The boys of summer are on the verge of the World Series with pitchers like Justin Purr-lander and out of the bullpen with Valverde and Coke. The Tiges are no match for the rest of the Central Division. Yesterday, the Tigers showed why they are clearly the champs of the Central. With one swing of the bat, the big man, Miguel Cabrera put the White Sox on the verge of being swept in a three game series. Cabrera sent Comerica Park into a frenzy by lifting a baseball high and deep into the Detroit Saturday evening, and giving the Tigers a 9-8 walk off win. After Cabrera’s performance, the King of the Jungle would get a hug from the manager of the year, Jim Leyland. That game was fun to listen to, because the voice of the Tigers, Dan Dickerson had a lot of passion. You had to be there to listen to it. With the win, the Tigers now have a commanding lead over the White Sox of 7 and a half games.
