Bismarck, North Dakota. On Thursday night, September 1, the blue and orange made their debut in front of the hometown fans. The game went back and forth on a teeter-totter, but U Mary upset Bill O’Boyle and the Chadron State Eagles 31-24. This game also marked the debut of former UND star Josh Murray in blue and orange. Murray, who is a senior transfer from Wisconsin, used to play for the green and white of the University of North Dakota. Murray made a big impression on jeremiahboyce.com when he had a couple of explosive returns that set up the Marauders in Eagles territory. The Eagles have had the Marauders’ number previously in this series by blowing out U Mary and sinking their ship early in the season. This year’s edition of the Marauders should bring some sunshine to Bismarck by challenging for the Northern Sun championship. The next challenge for the Marauders comes on the road at Marshall Minnesota before returning home to face the Vikings of Augustana. You will hear from coach Myron Schultz and from Josh Murray on this website.
