After scoring nine runs in the first matchup between the Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins, the Twins were shut out by the Tigers 6-0 on Tuesday night, evening the series at one. And dropping Sonny Gray to 5-5. Gray was looking for back to back wins, but the Tigers offense had other ideas. Eduardo Rodriguez was the winning pitcher on Tuesday night. Miguel Cabrera had two hits, and is now tied with Robin Yount, formerly of the Milwaukee Brewers. I expect the Tigers to come out with guns blazing again tonight. If the art of pitching is not there for Minnesota, it will be a long night for Dick Bremer and the Twins’ television crew.
