Detroit Michigan. The Tigers will have to play a complete baseball game if they want to beat the Yankees in tonight’s game number four and sweep the series. The Yankees are a really good team, but the fact that the Tigers have a three games to none lead has everything to do with the art of pitching, and hitting. Last night was another outstanding performance by number 35 Justin Verlander, he was incredible through eight innings.
Meanwhile, how about Phil Coke? He stepped up while the pressure was on and proved once again that he has the heart of a champion. The reason why I’m proud of Cokey is because when he is faced with a challenge he refuses to quit. He refuses to let his team’s dream die. So now, all the Tigers need are 27 outs and they are King of the American League. On the mound for the Tigers tonight is Max Scherzer, meanwhile the Yankees will go with CC Sabathia. If the Yankees win tonight there will be a game 5 tomorrow afternoon in Detroit, but I don’t think there will be a game because the Tigers smell blood in the jungle.
