Garrett Roth and Layne Sedevie are both like family to me, because Garrett used to coach the Bobcats, but now he is with the Oklahoma Warriors. As luck would have it, the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota has the two being paired up against one another this morning at 11:15. The Bobcats and the Warriors have never met. The Warriors used to be in Wichita Falls, Texas, but were relocated to Oklahoma this year. The battle lines are clearly drawn. On one hand, you want Layne to do well, but on the other hand, you want Coach Garrett to do well. In fact, if you listen to the Bobcats preview this morning on KLXX Super Talk 1270, you might hear Bobcats and Warriors both talking at the same time, because Layne and Garett used to coach the same team. This is going to be one of the most epic battles in Bobcats history, because I don’t ever remember a Bismarck former assistant battling Layne. I predict the Bobcats will win 2-1.
