The Purdue football team has two more games to play this year, against Michigan State on Friday, and against the Indiana Hoosiers on November 30.
Meanwhile, the Mecca of basketball, otherwise known as Mackey Arena, will sit quietly as the Purdue basketball team travels to Marquette on Tuesday. Expect a fired up Marquette crowd, as Purdue will be rated high after their upset win over Alabama last Friday night. This is a team that went 32-4 last year, and fell one game short one of a National Championship. UConn claimed the championship over Zach Edey and the Boilers. It’s not too much to ask the Boilers to finish 32-4 this year, and then they will win a National Championship. I don’t care too much for UConn, but give them credit where credit is due. The Boilers will blow their whistle at Marquette and the whole college basketball world.
