Indianapolis, Indiana. With Slick Leonard watching from heaven, your Indiana Pacers are on their way to their second NBA Finals. But they have stiff competition. The OKC Thunder have been the best team in the NBA Playoffs, but that doesn’t mean that Myles Turner won’t help deliver the Larry O’Brien to Indianapolis. Turner was interviewed by Pat Boylan after the Pacers vanquished the New York Knicks four games to two. He said “we are four wins away” and that Indy “never gives up.” Pascal Siakam was named the MVP of the Eastern Finals, and was given the Larry Bird Trophy to indicate all of the hard work he did guiding his team to a knockdown of the New York Knicks.
The NBA Finals begin on Thursday 6/5 in Oklahoma. You have to give Shai Gilgeous-Alexander credit for being the MVP of the entire league, but he is a pain the butt, and the Pacers are all up to the challenge.
