For the Bismarck Bobcats, the defense of the Robertson Cup title begins in half number two with the pests from Minot next Wednesday evening in Bismarck. It will be their annual New Year’s Eve game. Minot is having a paltry season, which finds them in sixth place with a record of 11-14, while the Bobcats are defending their title perfectly, near the top of the NAHL, where the defending champions should be. It’s all thanks to the coaching staff, who are led by the former number 27, Garrett Roth and Alex Rauhauser. One of the Bobcats sharpshooters is Cooper Williams, who is already committed to play college hockey and will play for Lake Superior State. On January 2 and 3, the Bobcats will play at the Pepsi Arena at the Maysa in Minot, for a total of a three game series against the Suckatauros.
