Cam Miller from Solon, Iowa is gone. Now, it’s time for a quarterback from West Chicago, Illinois to start for the NDSU Bison. His name is Nathan Hayes. He is a senior and was a backup for the Bison last year, but he didn’t get much playing time. This means there will be a new starter at quarterback this year, which could mean growing pains for a university that is known for quarterbacks that have a flair for magic. When the thundering herd are behind, quarterbacks in the past, like Cam Miller and CW, have had strong legs and will to win. Nathan will be tested on August 29, when he is tasked with trying to lead the Bison into a new era. I will post an article on Nathan’s debut after I listen to Sam Neidermann and Phil Hanson on the call with Learfield on August 29.
