Bismarck, North Dakota. When you are playing a lowly Minot team that only has three wins on the season, and you have 18 wins on the season, the scoreboard better reflect those 18 wins. It was Aaron Nelson’s turn to perform magic in the net, and on this night, it would be Oliveri and Sommer scoring goals. After Oliveri and Sommer scored, the Bobcats tightened the screws defensively, holding the fledgling Tauros off the scoreboard, and sending Minot to their 20th loss on the season. Oliveri, a night after instigating a fight and drawing a game ejection, used his noggin and contributed to the Bobcats’ effort. Sommer, being Bismarck’s leading scorer, added to his goal total. Minot resorted to its usual goonish and cheap and dirty play. The NAHL has warned Minot to knock off their dirty play, but it didn’t work on Thursday night, and Minot abused head referee Michael Taylor.
