Sonoma, California. The number 22 Shell Pennzoil Dodge and its driver Kurt Busch continued to grow all day. By the end of the day, he wasn’t a bush, he was more like a shrub. Busch, who has never won in wine country, and who is known for being a whiner, made a little sweet wine of his own in the right way on Sunday. Smoke and Brian Vickers had an on-track altercation in which the two traded paint. NASCAR’s have-at-it-boys policy was in play on Sunday, as the Columbus, Indiana native told the Performance Racing Network, “I got him earlier, so I don’t blame him for getting me.” He also stated that until NASCAR does something about the blocking policy, “I’m going to continue to do that.” Jeff Gordon dispached Karl Edwards, and finished runner-up to the Busch whacker.
