Sparta, Kentucky. Kyle Busch finds himself in the unfamiliar position of being the NEXTEL Cup’s points leader headed to Loudon, New Hampshire. After qualifying on NASCAR’s new rule which is if there’s a rainout, you take the fastest time from practice on Thursday, and that happened to be Kyle Busch. Busch, who is known for being controversial, stole the show at Kentucky. He was the strongest horse on this night, outrunning David Reutimann and five-time Jimmie Johnson, who finished third after Reutimann’s last lap pass for second.
