South Bend, Indiana. The Irish are now up to number two in the land, due to great quarterback play by the Senior from El Dorado Hills California, Ian Book, and the superb coaching of Brian Kelly. The Irish are 8-0, with a chance to move up if Alabama stumbles in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, with Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler on the call from the high plains of Alabama, otherwise known as Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. We could be looking at Indiana as number one if Bama loses to Auburn. I think it’s do-able, but the Irish have to get good senior leadership from Book and Jeremiah Owosu-Koramoah. The Irish should be able to annihilate the tar out of the Tar Heels Friday afternoon.
