On a Saturday that was supposed to honor Preston Tescher, St. Cloud was ready to play from the very beginning, and U-Mary looked like a one and ten team from the beginning of Saturday’s proceedings throughout most of the first half. It’s no fault of coach K. or the seniors. He has been saying it from the very beginning, the team is very young. He was saying that when they prepared to battle Upper Iowa. I would expect competition at every position next year. Nobody is safe on this football team. Even though you might be good at what you do, I suspect there will be battles at every position next year. If I know coach K, he doesn’t like the way this team has finished up, so he is going to train his players even harder, to make sure there will be no repeat from this year.
