Night one of the NFL draft was filled with anything but surprises. As the night unfolded, it went as yours truly expected, with Joe Burrow getting his stripes. But there are questions whether Burrow can become the next Boomer Esiason. Andy Dalton was anything but Esiason who was the signal caller from Maryland. In fact, Dalton was a black eye on the Bengals. He and Marvin Lewis were to be blamed for all of the Bengals’ failures last season. In other football news, Jerry Jeudy will bring high tide with him to Denver. He will be a firecracker to watch, because he was rather explosive for the Tide. Whenever the Tide needed a high octane play, they would always find Jeudy. And as far as the miracle kid, Tua Tagovaiola, he went for a swim when the Miami Dolphins gave him his fins. There was speculation that Drew Breese might be headed to the ocean, but he will remain with the Who Dat Nation. I will be covering the NFL draft tonight via radio and television, and will have more updates on the horses from Indy and the reason why they were not featured in this article.
