Even though I can see Victor Oladipo with his point about rehab, if I was Pacers Assistant Trainer Carl Eaton, I would make sure Victor felt comfortable to play in Orlando. Without him, the Pacers are going to have to rely on Goga Bitadze, and he has very little experience due to Nate Mc “Water” Millan and his refusal to play him when the Pacers have a full and healthy roster. What does that say about Nate? It shows you that he is a scaredy cat, and not a very unifying coach. Because of McMillan, the Pacers will not be in the playoffs when it’s really trophy winning time. I feel like the Pacers made a huge mistake when they ousted Frank Vogel and put Nate Mc Millan at the helm. Just because he used to be a former Seattle Supersonic doesn’t mean a hill of beans. How many titles have you earned as a coach? None. So if I was Pacer Nation and hoping to bring a native of Terre Haute a title, I would think twice before hiring the Pacers’ next coach. Bobby Slick Leonard may have used a couple of choice words when he was the coach of the Pacers, but look what it brought them. It brought them three ABA titles under Leonard’s leadership. He still has the ability to coach. If he wasn’t with Mark Joseph Boyle as Boyle’s commentator, the Pacers would be in a whole lot better situation than they are with their current coach. I don’t see Larry O’Brien making an appearance in the heartland anytime soon, as long as Mc Millan is the coach.
