Due to the coronavirus, NASCAR had to find a new place for its drivers to shine instead of the usual Charlotte Motor Speedway. The July 15th race was relocated to Bristol Tennessee at the Bristol Motor Speedway. The race wasn’t without its drama, and Bristol quickly became a boiling pot like it always does. The drivers that were involved in the feud were from Glendale, Arizona #34 Michael McDowell, and from Mobile, Alabama, the driver of the #43 car Bubba Wallace. They were involved in an early caution in the beginning of the Winston open, making each driver wanting a piece of the other. Bubba wanted to deliver a present to Michael, so he went to his hauler and gave him the bumper off the #43 car. Meanwhile, on the track it was all about the Dawsonville, Georgia native Chase Elliot, who has replaced Dale Earnhardt Jr. as the most popular driver in NASCAR. After he won the all-star race on Wednesday night, the Dawsonville pool was allowed to sound the siren, which they only do when an Elliot wins a race.
