The first two games looked like chapter 2 of 2008, but that was just because they were in Detroit. Once the scene shifted to the Steel City, the Penguins had a lot more energy off the hometown crowd. They said not so fast Detroit. The #1 Star on Tuesday June 2 was Max Talbot. The Penguins were buzzing around Detroit’s #30 Chris Osgood and putting him to the test. They made Osgood pay for every mistake he made. As a result, we now have a best of 3 series. Game 5 is at the Joe Louis, game 6 is at Mellon. It’s a brand new series, ladies and gentlemen. Can the Penguins prove that they are ready to hoist Lord Stanley and give Marian Hossa a bitter taste in his mouth? Will Osgood return to form, like in games 1 and 2?
