The Boilers are still in the top 10 in the polls. They are number 3 in the Associated Press poll and number 4 in the Coaches poll. And they scored 104 points yesterday against Nicholls State, from Thibodaux, Louisiana. Next in a scheduled matchup is Bucky Badger, when the Boilers take on the rascally Badgers from Wisconsin in Mackey Arena on Monday night. The game can be seen on The Big Ten Network and heard on the flagship for Purdue men’s basketball and football, WAZY Z96.5 in Lafayette and also on 1260 WNDE in Indianapolis. The Badgers have a two loss record, soon to be three.
Now for today’s matchup against those Tennessee Volunteers in the Music City Bowl. The Boilermakers hope to make sweet music in Nashville, Tennessee at the Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans of the NFL. My prediction is Purdue 24, Tennessee 10.
