Avondale, Arizona. It was time to anoint a new NASCAR champion on Sunday afternoon. Ryan Blaney finished second and Joey Logano finished first and won his third title. Blaney and Logano both drive for Mr. Penske. Logano is now a three time champion and both drivers were driving wheel to wheel in the closing laps. William Byron is the current Daytona 500 champion and finished third. The other final four contender, Tyler Reddick, finished sixth.
