Daytona Beach, Florida. It is time to defend the title that you won last year in Phoenix. Kyle Larson and Cliff Daniels are back again, and the number 5 team won the pole for Sunday’s 500. This is known as the Great American Race. Kyle and Cliff look to win the 500 and start their defense of the title. Brad Keselowski is no longer Joey Logano’s teammate at Penske. Instead, Brad decided to become an owner, and hook up with Roush Fenway Racing, which is now known as RFK Racing. They’re going to let Brad be an owner and Chris Buescher will be his driver. I predict that Kyle will commit larceny this year and be a back to back champion. Cliff Daniels is a great pairing with Larson. Joey Logano had an accident on Thursday night during the Duel at Daytona, and told Fox that it was a dumb move. I think there will be some challengers to Larson and Hendrick Motorsports. Alex Bowman and Greg Ives will be a force to be reckoned with in the 48 sponsored by Ally. Number 2 Austin Cindric, replacing Brad at Penske, will challenge for Rookie of the Year. Chase Elliott could be a dark horse to come out of the same stable as Ally and Ives. So too could be number 17, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. but he won’t challenge for the title. Ricky is from Olive Branch, Mississippi. Also, don’t forget about 23 11 Racing, owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, who is also a driver. He is sponsored by FedEx. Hopefully, he will be unable to deliver another 500 win and title.
