On Wednesday morning The Sheriff’s Patrol went on an investigation looking for the Head Bobcat, but he was reportedly in Massachusetts with five of his Bobcat players who were at the Top Prospects Tournament in Boston. So we had to talk to the other half of the coaching staff in Assistant Coach Garrett Roth and thank hime for his taking the time to visit with me.

We had to get the facts on why Daniel Chaladek had been buzzing around the net. Roth went on to say that this was a good opportunity for the Anaheim, CA native, and that Coach Sedevie was trying to get the non-committed players to be given a look by college and professional scouts. Chaladek took advantage of this opportunity by scoring three goals in two games.

When it came to a question on the team’s health, Coach Roth was very excited when discussing the subject. He said that the recent sweep of the Austin Bruins on the road proved that the Bobcats can handle adverse conditions in playing without their main cogs, and that other players can step up and fulfill roles in their absence.

Roth also mentioned that he and Coach Sedevie would be talking to each other later that day and combining ideas trying to come up with a successful game plan that would net the second place Bobcats four points this weekend against the fifth place Minnesota Wilderness in Minnesota. That would enhance the Bobcats’ chances of making the playoffs. The Capital City “Kitties” currently are only seven points behind the first place Aberdeen Wings, who were the Champions of the NAHL last year.

We wish the team good luck in their middle series of their three consecutive weekends on the road.
