Baltimore, Maryland. I know that the score looked like a butt kicking, but these Indianapolis Colts have come so far with a guy named Luck. The horseshoe is a symbol of good luck, and the state has a lot to be proud of. This was a franchise that was missing a key piece all year long. These Colts were not ponies. Instead, the played like stallions. Going into the game, I knew that we were going to have to play solid football for four quarters. Now, it’s Peyton’s turn to deliver the final death to Ray Lewis. What can you say about the young horse from Stanford? He played his heart out, but Andrew Luck quickly became a stallion. And look at the Colts record, 11 and 5. We just ran into a better team today. If those of you in Indiana are sad, there’s nothing to be sad about. 24 – 9 can be a positive thing. Next year, these young Colts will come out of the barn hot. Andrew has another year to grow up. Keep your heads up, I-town. I know it’s not what most Hoosiers wanted, but I’m not surprised about how they lost the game. I kind of thought that it might happen, but Naptown, I have a message for you. Don’t rip in to Andrew. It clearly wasn’t his day. You’ll have days like that in the NFL. Look at what Luck did for you. He took the reigns of a 2-14 team a year ago, and turned their record all the way around to 11-5. You have nothing to cry about, Naptown, you have a lot to look forward to. We just ran into a team that wanted it more, and I will remember how a 2-14 team felt last year. 11-5 is nothing to cry about. Thanks for a great season, Andrew.
